According to a video from British Ace an enhancement pack has been released. A new lease of life for the old and now dated West Somerset Railway route in TSW, this free EP adds a load more vegetation as well as gives the route a better local identity and updates visuals and scenery. Hope you enjoy! EP - https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mod... HST AI - https://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&... Has anyone been successful in downloading and installing this pack?
Hopefully it will work in TSW4, a little late for TSW3! Would still like to see an official steam pack and timetable focused on the 4F.
This pack came out over a year ago as far as I know. Along with the mastery update unlock featuring 4F being unloaded from a flatbed truck.
It’s new, released in the last week or two, and is excellent. Until DTG say otherwise it will likely not work in TSW4.
Most PC mods are very easy to install. Just place a copy of the .pak file in your DLC (not pak!) folder - usually C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Train Sim World 3 > WindowsNoEditor > TS2Prototype > Content > DLC.
I'm thinking of getting the WSR route as it's 60% off now. I have SOS , and The Peak Forest route. I also have the class 31, and British Rail freight pack. The Tees valley route, and northern trans pennine. Will I be able to drive any steam locos on the WSR?. I've been trying to get into the Creators club on a PS4, I signed into my dovetail live account, but it says check connection. I'm wondering if I need to be able to get into the Creators club, to drive steam on the WSR?. I've got a few liveries from the creators club before, but can't get into there now.
Only in a custom scenario / scenario editor creation. If you have problems connecting to Creators Club, in order to drive a steam loco there you'll need to create such scenario for it by yourself. There have been so far no additional timetables created for WSR with use of steam locos.
I mean from what I've seen looks great but with WSR being heavily redone soon won't the TSW4 version be completely broken?
