    who wants the Western lines of Scotland route for tsw 3?

    Exactly.
    Beautiful scenery, single track, one or two services a day.
    Bird life excellent but unlikely to be portrayed, so back to the paint drying simulator.

    I would love to see it. There are more than one or two services a day according to my working timetable. It is quite a challenge to drive in some places. As said, though, best to put it in the suggestions forum.

    It’s a beautiful area, scenery wise, but I think it would be boring to drive so I’ll stick to my driver’s eye view videos.

    Highly unlikely as unless someone caught it on cine camera, Dumfries to Challoch Jn closed in 1965. That is why it would be great to see a re-creation in TSW. Although dated, the TSC version by Keith Ross is still one of the best UK routes.
