PS5 Wet Passengers On Rhien Rhug Osten [not A Bug]

After some years from the release of Rhein-Ruhr Osten i wanted to play on my new ps5 some scenarios, i dissapointed with some of the problems from back in time, the light around, people on the rain without the umbrellas, no luggages like on the new addons, did the devs fixed any of the issues? they added things to some of the addons? What will happen with all the old addons of the game TSW4???

 

Umbrellas I think are part of the rush hour passenger updates, likewise with luggage.

RRO is one of the routes that didn’t get this update as it was pre rush hour.

not sure by what you mean by what will happen ? Nothing unless something does.

 

RRO never got updated since it’s convention to TSW2. So basically it’s a very old fashioned route, with old weather effect, old sky boxes and old passengers. Just forget about this map, it’s needs a complete overhaul and a lot longer. Maybe in the future who knows

 

I thought when they talking about core updates they fixing also all the old issues...anyway hope they will see it and work on it someday! Must fix this...

 

It is impossible for DTG to fix everything so some routes have not had the same updates that some others have had. The worst thing about RRO is the gradient changes in the track not having the gentle curves they require but having sharp changes, which is a bigger issue than passengers who like to get wet. As far as I can tell there is no desire for DTG to revisit this route yet. It may take a loco DLC coming for it or a pet project for a member of DTG’s team to work on in their own time to get this route up to scratch. There are so many routes now that it can be a lottery which ones get work done and which ones don’t. There was a time, that we all remember fondly, when no passengers had umbrellas on any route.

 

RRO was always a little weird, first of all because the route is so short it also ends in a weird station, why Bochum and not Dortmund 20km down the road. The huge stations of Essen and Duisburg are waaaay to quiet. I kinda hope that one day DTG will just completely overhaul this map, extend it to Dortmund and just gives it the love this route deserves

 

That’s the other route Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr. RRO is Rhein-Ruhr Osten - Hagen to Wuppertal. But both are short routes with odd ends.

 

agree...but if that not a bug why they charge it with the same price when coming to release?? for me is kinda strange why they not update all the addons together, and they leave some on old issues...ridiculous....
