This route would comprise of 3 separate lines, and would also mean that the only remaining section of the South Western Main Line to create would be Southampton to Woking. The line between Bournemouth and Weymouth is around 35 miles long, the Poole Docks line is 2 miles long, and the route up to Yeovil Pen Mill is 18 miles long in addition to the line up to Yeovil Junction, giving a total route mileage of 56 miles. Proposed Rolling Stock Class 159 in SWT livery (with SWR Branding) Operates all SWR services from Yeovil Pen Mill to Waterloo. Class 165 in GWR livery Modified version of the TSW model to include a 2car variant of the class. Operates most GWR services to Weymouth Class 444 in SWR livery Operates all SWR services in this area following the withdrawal of Class 442s. Class 59 in DB Schenker livery Operates stone services along the Hamworthy branch when they run.
Would this be an extension of the Southampton to Bournemouth like what happened with North London Lines route they named a new route included the North London Line as well as the West London Line & GOBLIN?
