I’m having a blast with this train and the Antelope route, but like with every loco I want to use the safety systems. I’m not sure where they are or what they even are, as my knowledge on US content is limited. I did check the manual for TSW4, but I couldn’t find any info on there.
It's just the alerter. In real life it's ietms but that's complicated to implement because of a lack of reference material online
Enjoying this route myself. It’d actually help if there was some sort of in-cab signaling being that you’ll get a lot of adverse signals, with some parts of the line being single track. I guess at the end of the day that’s what the safety systems are for, they’re an aid of some sort, so without them, you’ll want to stay pretty alert.
then what is ATS, PTC and TMS (I believe that one is only in the control cab) there for? just for laughs?
Behind the engineers seat is a panel with loads of switches. Third row down Switch on ATC & PTC, bottom row switch on Alerter cut-out. Safety systems activated along with the added AP
I made a useful thread with lots of information a while back that includes information regarding signals and operating procedures if it might be helpful in regards to this thread: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ngs-and-other-rules-useful-information.78699/
