I have made a few route suggestions in the past. But I would like to hear your guys' opinions on what you guys think should be added American passenger-wise. Feel free to post a reply down in the comments. I may do them in future route suggestion posts. Let's hope we get some new American passenger routes in the next batch of routes for the roadmap. Operators I have already suggested: Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Metrolink Sounder Some operators I wanna see that I haven't suggested yet are in the list below: Metra ACE Commuter Brightline Amtrak California (Capitol Corridor) Trinity Rail Acela (Old or Avelia Liberty) Front Runner
MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) Bombardier EMU Pennsylvania Railroad Illinois Central
I think TSW 2 needs to bring back a new look NEC route with Acela's. It would be easy given their inclusion in TS. Metra out of Chicago would be great too.
NJT with ALP45DPs! Passenger route with dual mod would be a great addition, maybe in some combination with NEC, but that would probably mean an all-electric route and that misses the potential of these locos.
No expert on exact names of routes, but I'd say any in the Southern states. Could also try some in the rust belt region. Maybe the Chicago El?
Here's some things that I would like to see be done in the future. -Any Pre-Amtrak Era Passenger trains -Amtrak California (Capitol Corridor from San Jose to Oakland would merge nicely with the Peninsula Corridor Route.) -NEC, most likely the DC to Baltimore Route as that is already done for TS20XX, but a Boston to Providence would be nice too.
Agree, they should do what they did in TS2021 by doing New York to Philadelphia. It is a bit on the long side, but whenever we get 100 mile routes, that would be pretty cool to go between 2 major cities.
MTA Metro North Railroad New Haven, Harlem or Hudson Lines and the full line of these routes and not part of the line MTA New York City Subway More lines for the MTA Long Island Railroad plus an extension to the Ronkonkoma Branch and Port Washington Branch Amtrak Pacific Surfliner or NEC
DC to Baltimore would be a decent choice. They could also do New York to Philadelphia. I know it's a bit on the long side. But whenever we get 100 mile routes, that route would be a perfect fit
