I noticed that a lot of trains on Munich Augsburg are missing from the RE/RB. In the pre-release stream, they said they took the schedule from the 8th. September 2020. Still, some trains are missing there. Missing trains from Augsburg: 06:05 Augsburg, Munich 06:49 06:17 Augsburg, Munich 07:06 06:30 Augsburg, Munich 07:15 06:49 Augsburg, Munich 07:38 07:23 Augsburg, Munich 08:12 08:06 Augsburg, Munich 08:54 18:40 Augsburg, Munich 19:25 19:06 Augsburg, Munich 19:50 Missing trains from Munich: 07:05 Munich, Augsburg 07:41 - Train stop only in Munich-Pasing 15:56 Munich, Augsburg 16:46 16:41 Munich, Augsburg 17:30 17:00 Munich, Augsburg 17:48 17:13 Munich, Augsburg 18:01 17:34 Munich, Augsburg 18:20 18:00 Munich, Augsburg 18:48 Between 16:36 and 17:56, there is no RE/RB in TSW 2 from Munich to Augsburg. In Reality there are 4 Trains. What do you guys think about DTG filling in the missing trips in the future? The additional trains in the rush hour could be parked in Munich Hackerbrucke/Hirschgarten/Laim sidings and then run out again in the afternoon. In my opinion, that would make it much more fun to drive. Consoles shouldn't be a problem either because there's no RE/RB there.
I imagine that most will want more additional traffic, but keep in mind that this is not going to happen for now, until the layers are added on consoles. As is logical DTG is not going to keep widening the gap between PC and console users by adding more stuff for one and not for the other, considering they both pay the same for their products. BR 420 is also on the horizon for this route, and it is not known if it will add additional services. I imagine DTG will be hopeful that the optimization work they are doing will pay off and depending on the outcome they will decide what can or cannot be implemented. Let's give them a vote of confidence because they put a lot of effort into making HMA, they even said it was their most ambitious route to date so they are not going to abandon it and I am sure they will give us a lot of joy.
I think TSG has the alternative timetime thing in mind, which will be introduced with the BR Blue pack for GWE. Don't know if that is still the plan and realistic for TSG to do, but that was at some point a thought.
Yes, TSG said in another forum that they hope to be able to create multiple schedules by the time the 420 is released, because TSW can't run the 420 in parallel with the 423 (BR423: 8 cars, BR420: 6 cars)
