There's a lot of things I want in tsw next. A lot of those things I'm probably not going to get. Atm I'm happy with what we have whilst dtg address a few problems that need fixing.
Here's a short(ish) list of things I want to see: Routes: -BNSF or ATSF Cajon Subdivision: Barstow-San Bernardino -Tehachapi Pass -Pacific Surfliner -Brightline Miami-West Palm Beach -SP Peninsula Corridor -WP Feather River Canyon -ATSF/BNSF Raton Pass Locos: -UP Big Boy #4014 -UP Challenger #3985 -UP FEF3 #844 -ET44AC/ET44C4 -SD70ACe-T4 -C44-9W/BNSF AC44C4M/NS AC44C6M -Siemens Charger -ATSF 4-8-4 #3751 -GP60/GP60M/GP60B -FM Trainmasters -More classic diesels (Alcos, Baldwins, and FMs) -More steam locos
I'd like to see the Brussles - Köln section of the LGV operated by Thalys, with 2 TGV units, the PBKA and PBA sets as they can (I think) be seen alongside the ICE 3 (I think that's their designation, the BR 406). As for locos, I'd like to see the BR 193 and some from the Belgium side of it. I'd like to see these, but I'd wager I have fat chance of then happening.
Which question to answer? The title of the thread “What do you think will be in TSW2 next?” or the opening post, “Please tell me what you want in TSW2 next” These will have different answers if I go into specifics, so to cover my initial confusion about what is being asked I would say… More routes and more trains. That answers both. I bid you all a very nice day. Oh, hang on a minute, I don’t think there will be any new content for TSW2. I think TSW2 is finished bar for a few more fixes and updates by the Preservation Crew. So, I will have to answer again in the context of what I think will be and what I want in TSW3. For both, I would have to say ECML with a Deltic. Now I will bid you an even better day than I did before. Everything is better with a Deltic.
MBta Boston commuter rail line north station Haverhill/Lowell or Fitchburg or Boston south station to Worcester with the Hsp46 locomotive and the bilevel coach’s.
I'd love Northern line, with 1956/59/62 stock. Metropolitan line with older period trains like No.12 locomotive would be a nice historical addition too. I'd also really love a BR 487 train from Waterloo & City line. The line itself isn't that interesting to include, but the train has a lot of character.
Personally i would love to see quite a few routes Ayrshire coastline Class 380/0 and 380/1 + class 314 scenario Glasgow central-ayr, largs and ardrossan Edinburgh-glasgow Glasgow queen street-Edinburgh and alloa Class 385 Fife circle Class 158, 170 and class 43 inter7city Wcml south London euston-milton keynes Class 378, 350 and 390 Glasgow southwest line Glasgow central-kilmarnock and east kilbride Class 156 Inverclyde line Glasgow central-wemyss bay/gourock Class 314, 318, and 380. Of course tsw3 is all but confirmed at this point, so i think that is what's next for train sim world, hopefully we get some more bug fixes with that, and some day we have all of these routes and more!
