Hi, I have a question. Can you tell me what happened to railworksct.com, why and when, whether it will ever return and where all of its products are still available? Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Connor Richey
Wrong. 1. Railworks is now Train Simulator Classic 2. OP refers to a 3rd party website railworksct.com (never heard of it though)
torf is accurate. The Dovetail Games site, when they used the name RSC, was www.railsimulator.com/ That still works BTW, it just redirects to Dovetail Live now. But it used to look something like this: https://web.archive.org/web/20101219123332/http://railsimulator.com/productdetail.php?Ref=24083
Perhaps it might be figuring out what the CT stands for. Not that I have any leads, then only things I can come up with are Central Trains or Content Test which are both unlikely.
Not all website create Archives i have look for archived sites of current websites in the past and there is no trace. It will be down to the site owner to create the archive that gets uploaded.
yes necessary the website owner has to create a back up that gets archived. I used to run a website so know the process.
I think they have bots that roam the Internet too. You can make a request, but I doubt they request backups every week or two in some cases.
