It would seem that the my own created scenarios seem to have transferred across to TSW4 OK. They are listed, they load and they play correctly. However none of the Creator's Club liveries I have subscribed to have come across meaning that every scenario now contains "bare" models. (See below). I am aware that there was comment made that creators would have to re-upload their creations to the Hub once TSW4 was live but I'm not 100% certain what needs to be done re Scenarios as, to work correctly, they are dependent on their component parts. So could someone please clarify the following. 1) Do I need to re-upload all 42 of my scenarios asap just to get them on the TSW4 system? 2) Do I do this by just clicking on the "re-upload" button from within each scenario or do I have to create an entirely new file from the main screen? 3) If I do this then will people still running TSW3 still be able to download them in future? 4) Will my scenarios not work as intended until the authors of all the liveries I have used up-date their files? 5) How will I know if or when a livery author has updated their livery to TSW4? 6) Just because I can see all my files in TSW4 (whether they work or not), does that mean that everyone else can too? Apologies if some of these questions are a bit dumb but, at the moment, I am scratching my head wondering (a) what I need to do? and (b) in what order do I need to do things? Thanks.
Think it’s widespread issue. Any liveries that have been created using livery designer 2.0 seem to work fine. The stuff brought over from TSW3 doesn’t add the layers. I had a response saying it was fixed but it’s not. Unsubscribing and resubscribing doesn’t work either! See my post. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...tions-not-displaying-correctly-in-tsw4.74248/
Hi Baz, Yes I am very confident that TSW3 liveries will need to be updated using Livery Editor 2.0 which, basically, means most of my scenarios won't now work correctly. (Well they will work but most trains won't have liveries). How this gets fixed I don't know as there is no clue, other that the age of the livery, as to what editor it was created in. Not a very satisfactory state of affairs.
Agree. ECML is pretty boring without them. Red 66, Azuma, Red 66, Azuma, Azuma. Azuma….. if nothing else subscriptions add some much needed variety. Unfinished liveries just don’t do it for me, or anyone else it seems!
Hi Baz, The following appear to work OK if you want to subscribe for some quick colour. (I don't have any links to these authors but, in quick checks of downloads from Creators Club the liveries look OK to my eye). Just start a search of most recent files and they are reasonably near the front. 1) Hull Trains (802) / Lumo (803) / TPE (802) - all by SR (very detailed). 2) Grand Central (180 / 801) by JasonPFC 3) CL66 GBRF 66781 and Red HST 43 (2+8) by CHuntley 4) CL66 DRS (PBD) by TomHill 5) "What If?" Prototype HSTs by PinzaDave 6) LNER HST (ex Virgin 2+8) by Squirrel. I will be using these liveries in some scenarios that should see the light of day soon. Hoping for a successful CL158 livery but haven't found one yet. (Ditto the CL150 where the system seems to have trouble "remembering" that WCL stock has been used). David
