Looking forward to TSW on Xbox One X, but wondered how it differs from TS2018? I used to play the older version of TS on my PC and loved getting hold of the extra routes etc.

Is that a possibility on the Xbox, that we will see additions like that, or does it work in a different way? Cheers

Well TSW is a completely new simulator developed in Unreal Engine 4.

As for what will come to X-Box i would guess all the official DLC from Dovetail at least, any other DLC may depend on the developer.
But i would not get any hope up for workshop items or other third-party stuff until its actually there.

TS2018 is running on a 10 year old engine that's been regularly updated and tweaked.
TSW runs on Unreal 4 and allows for things like UWP and unified development. It's better in the long run, but may take time to get up to speed.

I'd expect to see everything that's officially released through DTG on the Xbox store once the game releases fully later in the year, you'll probably not see much before then.

Unlike tsw, tsw2 allows you to create/replicate liveries and create scenarios

TSW2 looks better in my opinion but has shorter routes.
So it's a bit of a trade off between good, realistic looks on more platforms or longer routes and more DLC
