What is the use of RailWorks 2 AllAboardCore at the DLC?
Also, which route do you use ES44AC (Unbranded) and (US Branded)?

Allaboard core is scenery for the Allaboard routes - Fort Kent, Ohio Steel 2, Rascal&Cottonwood and Colton&Northern. It also adds the ScaleRoads traffic. Used by older routes.

The ES44AC is used in Tehachapi Pass - be aware that this loco has broken brakes ever since release, even after latest update. Also remove the unbranded one using Steam game properties / DLC list as described in some threads before. Having both branded and unbranded installed will crash the game when playing Tehachapi Pass.

    DTG Jamie
DTG should definitely remove those unbranded packs - they are unrealistic, obsolete, useless and cause crashes for unaware players. But as DLC can't be permanently removed from library once purchased (only manually deactivated) they should update all these to contain just a dummy ap file. This would solve many issues people are having because the contents would not conflict with the branded packs.

Didn't they delete the Hitachi SEC from people's libraries?

No. What you buy will stay in your library - it's just not available anymore for new customers. Same with the Virgin Trains North Wales Coastal. I can redownload it anytime if I bought it before withdrawal.

In which scenario would you use the RailWorks CN ES44DC Pack DLC, RailWorks CN SD40 Pack DLC, RailWorks NS HighNose Pack DLC and TS2014 Steam Edition Back Ground?

According to this post it was fully removed from the game. In fact I remember seeing it caused quite a bit of controversy and was thought of as the reason for DTG giving the Class 801 for free.

Again: Removing an item from the store does not mean removing it from your library if you already own it.

DTG or Steam won't remove anything from your library as they could run into legal issues.

That's what I was saying. What you purchased stays in your library - even if withdrawn from the store.

IIRC the withdrawal and the release of the Class 801 happened at the same time, the 801 simply replacing the Hitachi SEC (but using a different folder structure altogether, so people who had used the Hitachi SEC in scenarios were SOL)

Okay, CN ES44DC Pack, CN SD40 Pack and NS HighNose Pack are included with Ohio Steel 2 Route; TS2014 Steam Edition Back Ground is included with Southern Pacific SD70M Loco.
    Thank you.

It would be best to ask over at Railworks America. Railworks America - Railworks America

Some of these might be referenced in the workshop.
You can also create your own scenarios using them. You can find them under RSC iirc.
Cyclone played a few Castle Rock scenarios with them. I also recall torfmeister showing off Fort Kent scenario using CN, however all of those scenarios now use the SD40-2 from Classic US assets. I assume they were converted at some point.

I don't know about scenarios available to customers. Maybe there are scenario packs now unavailable. Also timetabled scenarios didn't show up until recently so maybe these have some, so I may have missed.

Practically, these are outdated models with inappropriate sounds and inconvenient driving position. You are safe to untick them (and the background). They are viable as stationary, or you may upgrade them at RWA indeed.

The NS High Nose is essentially the same as the currently available one for the Coal District. Maybe different sounds, but it didn't remove anything.

Scaleroads? You mean the Scalerail thing? I know a site went down, 3Dtrains, that had that. Projects still exist requiring it, like an Irish route.
I think they were the original scenarios. Though I plan to bring out others over time.

ScaleRoads is part of 3DTrains' ScaleRails subsystem - it is partially included in Allaboard routes. If you remember the Fort Kent thread, that was the place to fix the Black Walls bug.

But your comment could mean anything. I'm showing the links to them on Steam showing that they are still available.

And are ideal for beginners with “tutorial” type scenarios leading into more complex without being too stressful.

My comment was an exact answer to the OP... apparantly routes not birds'n'bees. ;)
