Since I've played TSW on every loco I hear this whistle during driving. I'm not sure what it should be mimicking but I guess it's probably wind and not a whistle as it's the same sound in every country. I never seen it being mentioned but I don't understand why the sound is used anyway. I never heard this sound in real life whilst being on a train. It's a sound I would hear on a platform but not when the train is moving.
Mmmmh yeah it might be that wind sound issue you can hear on the cab which is annoying sometimes. DTG is aware but I don’t think they’ll fix it
I thought I was hearing things... guess not if you heard it too. Like a light whistling sound, not wind or horn but like a long bird chirp or mouse, or something similar?
