Motion blur, I recommend turning it off. If on ps5 atm (when I last checked) can only be done by plugging a usb keyboard into the console and pressing ctrl + F2...
Ah... I don't use pc so I'm not sure what else I can say. Might be a minor bug with the glass/reflective texture, but I'm just guessing tbh.
That's not coming from the motion blur. That's from TAA. Lots of UE4 games, or lets say games that use TAA have that. Temporal Anti Aliasing does its job by analysing previous frames. It's a cheap (performance wise) approach on doing anti aliasing but comes with the cost of this artefacts. Nothing really new tbh.
Actually, that specific kind of ghosting only appears with motion blur off. Motion blur hides it by blurring those frames together.
You can either switch to different antialiasing method, or on PC you can also tune some of the TemporalAA settings in the Engine.ini, which however won't get rid of the effect completely, but can improve how it looks like.
Thanks, I switched to the other AA option. I'm no AA expert, so glad to be receiving some useful information in this topic. Thanks all!
