PC What Is This Yellow Dotted Line On The Track Monitor?

The other day I saw several of these yellow dotted lines on the track monitor as I worked my way through Cumberland on SPG. What do they mean?

They are representing where to stop your consist.

 

Really? Because I passed two if not three of them before the one in the screenshot and those places were not my stopping point.

Is there some kind of bug that causes it to display multiple instances or in the wrong spot?

No .. just like the ones in the track in the station… shows the entire consist, not just the head end stopping point. No bug here
