    Hi
I am trying to record the in-game sound audio and photo but don't know which free program for PC to use to upload to the dovetail technical section of the forum? Any suggestion would help?

Also, how do i upload the photo that I capture in-game from Steam to Dovetail forum?
    Thanks

OBS for recording. I've since switched over to it from FRAPS, and I enjoy it alot better.

As far as sceenshots, depending on what type you want, TSW2 has a built in screenshot system for regular screenshots which are uploaded to Dovetail Live. If you want to take a pic with the hud and everything, you can always use Print Screen and post that in Paint, and save it as a photo.

You can also use the windows game overlay (accessed with Windows + G keys) which has a decent video and audio recorder.

When you use the in game screen shot key it will upload to Dovetail Live - you find them on your profile page - here is mine

I use OBS to record and stream video.

If you're using PC you can use Steam Overlay or Geforce Experience (assuming you've got an Nvidia card) to record.

Does it take up so much space, cause i don't have lot sof storage space? Where is it store usually if I was to use steam overlay or geforce experience to capture a video of that gameplay? What happen if i deleted it, would the video still be able to view online? How does it work? Any help would be very helpful, i am so new to this, and thank you

If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you can use the Nvidia game overlay (alt-Z) to record, take screenshots etc

Windows Game Bar is built into Windows 10 - might be the easiest way for you - directions at

Steam will broadcast video, and I thought also record it but it seems it only does that if you're broadcasting (streaming).

    GeForce Experience uses Shadowplay https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/

OBS also works very well, but isn't exactly intuitive and assumes you either already know a bit of TV broadcasting or you're willing to learn. Its a top notch tool if you want to learn it and you can use it relatively simply if you only want to record. If you've got the internet bandwidth you can stream directly to YouTube or Twitch without using any local storage. Twitch will delete your videos unless you're a paying customer, YouTube keep them forever.

All of them record locally so will consume space, I run the game at 2K and record at either 30fps or 60fps depending on the game. I usually record TSW2 at 2K 30fps which consumes about 13gb/hour of play. Keeping them on your computer will gobble up a lot of space. If you want to keep them I would suggest either getting some external storage to store them or think about creating a YouTube channel and upload the ones you want to keep then delete the local copy. YouTube doesn't seem to care how much content you upload as long as you make most of it public. If you exclusively have private or unlisted content this can come off your account quote for storage.
