I've got too many routes and not enough time to enjoy them all!

I like a good variety and I think I've got maybe 70-80% of the routes now, and I've promised myself a break from anything new until steam arrives.

(Let's see how long I can keep that promise!)

I have quite a few routes, though no means not all.

As you have only just got TSW2, my suggestion is to get familiar with the 6 routes you already have and decide which type(s) of routes you like best and then consider what other routes you might enjoy. For example, you might prefer a high speed route like Koln Achen, or a local commuter route such as Boston Sprinter or (unlike me) freight routes such as Sand Patch Grade.

Anyway, TSW2 provides a good, varied experience and I hope you enjoy it,

By the way, if you have a recommendation for a Chinese route, you can always put it in the suggestions forum, giving as much information as you can about it. There are no guarantees that it will be taken up but variety is always welcome. As someone who is in the UK, I would certainly consider it.

    For me I have;
    • Glasgow Cathcart Circle (★)
    • East Coastway
    • Great Western Express
    • Southeastern High-speed
    • Northern Transpennine
    • Isle of Wight
    • Bakerloo Line (Base Route)
    • Sand Patch Grade (Base Route)
    • Köln - Aachen (Base Route)
    • Rapid Transit
    • LGV Med.
And the Class 465 loco DLC.

I also do plan on getting Rush Hour (Boston - Providence, Dresden - Riesa and London - Brighton) soon, and am considering getting Tees Valley Line or West Somerset Railway soon after.

Also will (depending on how it goes) likely get West Cornwall Local.

I started about 2 years or less ago, and have 9 playable tracks with one coming in the rush hour pack. A good forum question if not already asked is, How many tracks do you have to have? After a while there appears to be a diminishing return as the gameplay is similar. Might do the steam engine and put a hold on the DLC. Then maybe just watch for deep discounts if my play turns stale. Soo much still to do! Enjoy the game, faults and all. Many hours ending with a glitch or passed signal is to be expected.

I have all of the TSW2 routes except for two, the Lubeck and SEHS. I haven't even played them all yet, but I pick them up on sales or if it's a route I can't wait for, typically US.
