Everything. A charger and my local metro line (a license might never be obtained for it though). Lots of interesting scenarios can be made based on the events that happen constantly like repairs, closures, single tracking, etc.
Class 91 for ECMl (why this wasn't there at release is a mystery). My local line. The Class 185, older Southern Region units rather than just electrostars. Just to name a few

Austria, more specifically stuff around Vienna and Wiener Neustadt, maybe some Niederosterreich aka Lower Austria stuff, like Wien-Floridsdorf - VIE - Wolfsthal, both Wien Hbf - Marchegg/Bruck an der Leitha - Bratislava... and yes, it has all to do with the fact that I have ridden those as a passenger and would like to drive em in game also being a huge fanboy of OBB 4744/4746/4748, RailJets, Tauruses, Vectrons... whatever drives around Vienna
I mean, it looks so cool and it has vmax 160, according to some sources some have even been modified for 189 km/h
Sheldon might add an extra X there ... and yeah you could say that besides other stuff, watching Big Bang Theory and Sheldon's trains shenanigans actually got me more into... well, this
Let's have some Mid West railroading, for heaven's sake. The prospect of yet another New York or California based route fills me with despair.
Probably gonna end up being freight. Amtrak runs in the Midwest as well but the traffic density is quite low and players didn't seem to enjoy antelope valley for it even though it was a very popular route according to dtg. Outside of Amtrak, dtg don't really have anything related to licenses. In tsc, you barely have anything except for metra which was unbranded and made by a 3rd party. All dtg really made in tsc for passenger contact was either the very east or very west. There were some unbranded content but dtg seem to be reluctant to go that route in tsw. Unless dtg can get more licenses this year, there's not much they could do
I think a hand cart would be a superb addition, especially with the nature of free-roam and spawning items as you wish, you could just stop and get off and explore, and then get back on and carry on.
pics taken today at Wien-Westbahnhof sth out of this pls I know we will be getting Rosenheim - Salzburg, but still, look at the Nahverkehr Ostregion (incl. Vienna), like... damn ❤️
Lately I love playing on the Aickens - Springfield route in New Zealand on TSC. I would love a route with such breathtaking New Zealand's scenery in TSW, but having somehow higher detail farther away from the tracks. Additionally, having something outside of the regular DLC countries would be another reason for me to upgrade to the newer edition of TSW.
Ask and I shall deliver: For routes, I’d love part of the electrified sections of the Milwaukee Road with some classic box cabs and/or Little Joes. For locos, there’s a bunch of vintage German stuff I’d love to see: primarily the Br 140, but also Br 150, 151, 211/212, 215/216/217/218, 120 and some more modern stuff like the Br 152 and 189.
For me I’d personally would love to see The AC6000CW and both the SD80MAC (In Conrail colors) and the SD90MAC or the 9043MAC. The SD90MAC or AC6000CW could be used on Sherman Hill or the SD80MAC could be used on both Sand Patch Grade and Horseshoe Curve same with the AC6000CW on Sand Patch Grade, I’d personally rather have the AC60 on CSX vs UP something about that special scheme CSX did that made it one of my favorite locomotives.
For the US I'd say more electrics across the ages, like the E60, AEM-7, Little Joe, W-1, GG-1, boxcabs, EL-2Bs, EP-5s etc. Steam Turbines like the Chessie M-1 & Jawn Henry, and for diesels, Alcos & high hoods, love the high hoods. The static display on Horseshoe Curve is such a tease! Keeping with the theme, I'd also want some 1970s freight & passenger action by CN, Budd RDCs, Turbo Trains & F & FA hauled stock, boxcabs (again) etc. Also the SW7RM switcher for modern CN work. Maybe even retro VIA Rail into the 80s, the LRC would be a treat. Not forgetting the Genesis for Amtrak and F40PHM-2s for Metra. I mean I'm mainly a UK railfan but there's some great untapped varieties across the globe that I'd be keen to see.
Ohh yes that too, newer Mk2s instead of the constant recycling of A-Cs. Now the Royal Scots Grey & Gordon Highlander definitely but just about any Deltic will do! They better be planning one for the ECML, criminal if they don't.
A loop from Ramsgate - Canterbury West - Ashford - Dover - Ramsgate, during the Network SouthEast era: , including old stations like Folkestone Harbour: and Dover Western Docks, so you can end a service by driving onto a train ferry: Using Class 411 (4CEP): and Battle of Britain class:
Class 91 ECML North - York -> Newcastle (with capability built in for a merge should Doncaster to York and Leeds ever appear, or Newcastle to Edinburgh etc.). Same era as Don - PBO. 80xs, 220/221s.
