Even though we will only get the Dostos, which trains run on this route in real life. I don't know much about this route so it would interesting to know. I am thinking about whether DTG will add layers with trains we have. I know the ICE1/2s run on this line. What else?
It depends when the route is set (mainly if it is pre-covid or not). There are some RBs and REs that run every half an hour with BR112s and DoStos (both with the high doors and low doors). There also are some IC services (operated by I would assume BR120 or 101) Some ICE services operated by ICE1, ICE2 or ICE-T No idea about freight
I guess DTG are just doing the 182 because it's already made so they can just change the livery. I would have liked a new train that hasn't been in TSW before but I don't mind. The BR 112 looks quite a lot like the BR 143. I really hope we get new Dostos
From a technical point of view, the DB BR 112 is only an improved version of the DB BR 143. For routes and trains that are designed for 160 km / h
Some speculate it will have displays instead of the analogue gauges. It's likely it will have the capabilities of operating under various OHLE, so it will probabily have 3 or 4 pantographs like the 185.5. It should also have LZB, and hopefully the sound is better.
They could have gone for the BR193 (Siemens Vectron) instead of the BR182, that would have been nice and added a new loco and more value to the DLC. But maybe that is a plan for a later Loco DLC for any of the routes, we'll see But at least passenger wise, the 112 with Dostos is the only thing really running along this route (I hope we get the correct Dostos!). Occasionally also hauled by a TRAXX version, but that is only starting recently, but maybe the 146 will be able to substitute in Freight might be anything basically, so maybe some locos from other DLC's will sub in as well.
MRCE 182 if it used as a freight loco on this route,that would suggest possibly current or perhaps some new freightcars will be included.
