Hi everybody, long story short, I recently played RHH and RRO in Timetable mode and I really enjoyed the route and scenery. However, it was very boring, I only encountered 1 IA train in 1h+ of gameplay for each route (I have all DLC activated), no layers were running and garage tracks were empty (no wagon, materialsover the route). Over all I felt like I was the only train running in the afternoon... so sad considering they are S-Bahn routes.
So, speaking for ALL of these "old route" I will not suggest anything crazy in here, I would instead invite DTG to look back on what they have already done. I found it too bad to consider already released routes like abandoned old stuff. I really think that there is potential to add new loco, layer, material or even make a paid remake (maybe for less pounds as a new route but with real improvement) If all the route in game looks amazing the overall game will have better reputation (like for evrything, quality over quantity, it's the key of success). I mean adding new volumetrics sky or anything like that doesn't really matter for true rail fan, the most important is to drive and to SEE other trains on route. Static and IA trains are primordial for immersion.

Im sad thinking about these old routes not being playable anymore because they are not up to standard. This reduce the possibilities in game. I' will also add that it would be awsome to think about these "old content" when a new DLC come out to add, at least, more layer and life to these old DLC.

What do you think ? Should they focus on already existing content to make it enjoyable (with improvement, new loco, new wagon, extension etc) or should they still release new empty content each month ?

(sorry for my bad english Im not a native english speaker)

This is most likely going to be a passion project meaning a dev does it in their free time outside of normal working hours which is how the west somerset remaster and new timetables like the trenton timetable got made. So while nice to have, it may not be able to happen depending on how busy they are.

A remaster of older content would be nice as some of those are still enjoyable even if they're old.

But as rennekton pointed out, any remaster would likely be a passion project as DTG don't really go back to old routes, which is a shame as many have a lot of untapped potential.
