I noticed when you have two locomotives connected then you can really hear it. There's like a jet whine sound effect heard when you have two locomotives connected, specifically diesel ones. Makes the game feel so UN-realistic. Why is this?
The strange sound comes from the same sound file being played for both locomotives simultaneously, causing phase cancellation effect in the audio. I should imagine it’s difficult to avoid in the game’s sound engine.
