Since there's no forum support forum I thought this would be the best place to ask. In the past I've had posts deleted or edited by moderators on here, and each time there has been a notification explaining why - fair enough. However, I was looking through some threads that I'm sure I had posted in only to find that the post I thought I'd posted not there. While it is possible I'm getting confused between similar posts on different threads, I have a weird feeling that as somebody that is usually very critical on these forums that certain posts may have been deleted without warning. I'd like to ask the mods here, do users always get notifications when a post has been deleted by moderators?

The only time I got advised of an edit or deletion was along with an infraction warning, so no there doesn’t seem a system in place. I have seen an entire thread disappear without any advice to the participants as to why.

As Vern said. Only if it's an infraction with the rules. I've only had it once for swearing.

I’ve always been on the nice list (so far) no edits by mods etc, It’s not a hard record to break though :)
