So the new DLC just dropped and oh boy 5 tickets later the apps closed and I'm on here. I don't know how but game breaking bugs managed to get overlooked, not just with this DLC but with the game in general. If I can log on play for an hour and find 10 things that NEED to be fixed how hard can it be for the beta testers or Devs to do the same. I can't say how many times I defend this game online but now I can't be bothered 100's of pounds have gone into this game for many people only to be let down, closing the game only to feel disappointed and ripped off. Something BIG needs to change because this game is a sinking ship being dragged through the water. The holes need to be fixed and the game should NOT be released with game breaking bugs that are so easy to find by simply loading the game.
Are you looking for a response from other forum members, or is this just a generalized rant to underline the fact that you're not going to continue playing the game? If you want responses you need to be more specific about these " game breaking " bugs. We're all aware that the game has numerous bugs and there might be some advice that can be offered to deal with them. But if you're not going to give any details, no-one can have a useful response. Maybe TSW just isn't the right game for you. If so, find one that is and enjoy it without the apparent frustration you are feeling now. Good Luck
General rant mainly although I did get a ticket response outlining every issue I reported yesterday. You have to understand though it's hard to walk away from a game that you put nearly 500+ pounds into.
I'd suggest creating posts about them here too with sufficient detail. There have been incidences of people doing this recently which has resulted in fixes being made
DTG might not want to advertise what’s wrong with their game, but I do feel an official list of known bugs and their status would go some way to calming the customer dissent. As an example, Spirit Of Steam physics and the ongoing SPAD issues. If that was in a list, updated with progress and an estimate for a fix then it might prevent the numerous but justifiable threads we can see on the matter. As it stands, DTG do start to come across as being rather amateurish and disorganised if not plain ignoring some of the issues while pursuing more sales of DLC like the rather pointless (and from some reports very buggy) loco reskin and RHTT pack.
