I have downloaded some liveries, but I have not seen most of them! Situations: - On Dresden Riesa I noticed a VTG tank, on AI trains passing by. But I wanted to see in detail. Then I went to Riesa freight yard, but all the tanks there were the standard unbranded ones!. I tried with different trains and time, but nothing. I also tried to see at Dresden Hbf and the same. - Another issue was: I downloaded the IC repaint of the DB146 and Dostos on white and the red line. But on that route, a train including: 2 cars like them, but another regular Db red, then other white and another red again. So that is not very nice! I had no choice but to cancel this repaint. - I also download some US freight cars, but do not found anyone yet on Laramie or Cheyenne. I even used the Scenario where you have lot of freight cars but no one appeared! So then where those great liveries made by the community, appears on the game? Only on AI trains, not in your train? On timetables only, or on Scenarios too? Finally I remember DTG has mentioned they made an update about adding a "Logout" button for DTG Live, but It does not appeared! Has this being finally implemented, or it is not ready yet? If yes, where it is? I am on PS4 and could not found how to log out Any help and comment will be highly appreciated!.
The log out from DTG option is available from screen when you have just selected a route, in Settings (icon with gears in the same line with icon for profile, Community Hub etc. you can switch to select with use of R1/L1 buttons). For the liveries, I've only downloaded some for locos (Class 40 only to be exact) , none for wagons, and I'm seeing them being applied on AI trains passing me by on NTP route. Some are passing with standard liveries and some with the ones I've downloaded. But I'll download some for wagons now to check if those will also work on AI trains.
Ok, so I've downloaded some liveries for tank cars and box vans for use on Northern-Trans Pennine +BR Heavy Freight and after completing several scenarios with Class 101 I haven't met any freight train passing by with wagons having custom liveries applied. Maybe some of them spawned on Manchester/Leeds depots, but I haven't checked Does anyone knows how can I drive a service with loco having default livery, but cars having livery downloaded from Creators Club?
Can you actually have liveries on the loco you are driving?. I have made a few ones but I have seen just 1 once and I dont know any setting to make them appear.
In journey and service mode Created (including your own) liveries will spawn randomly. Just recently I have noticed that some appear on more than one route than the other. For example I have the habbins wagons painted as Transwaggons I think these are Solictr's fine creations. They only appear on riesa dresden but some days can be hit or miss. In my 8 hour stream I did on Riesa dresden a week ago they appeared on most trains throughout the 8 hours. Yet the next day I played on the route and nothing, not one showed not even in the sidings where there are loads of Habbins wagons are stabled. As for the VTG tanks they do appear on Riesa as they have appeared for me (i'm using the PS5 version).AS for the TEA tanks and perhaps the JNA aggregate boxes they are very rare if at all show up in block trains (all the same wagons). The JNA and TEA tanks or any other "custom" wagon can be made to show up in AI or your own consists via the scenario creator. If you have downloaded any US based liveries where the wagons feature in Sherman Hill, Sand Patch, Cane creek, Penn corridor, or Horseshoe Curve then they will almost certainly show up in consists along the Oakville route. Mostly in static consists but occasionally they turn up in AI consists or consist that you are driving along the route. Regards Hentis
I have created this thread with the doubts about it, but since some days I have it clear: - Locomotive repaints: It appears as an alternative livery - square button on PS4 - on the corresponding route (s) these locomotive runs on the game. - Freight and passenger cars: same situation as mentioned above, about where they appears. But in this case you can not select them. They appears on the consists, but this is created by the simulator itself. Most of them are the standard ones. But in your train you have some of the repainted ones. You can have exceptions of that rule: For example with the DB BR 363 on the refinery with a short train of just 5 tanks, in one occasion all of them were repaints! Note: I had selected the IC (white and red stripe) livery for the Dostos, but it always appeared as a "mixed" train, including the red ones! So that it is not nice to see. All the train must be with DB red equipment or the ICs. May be if someone knows how you can get your full train on IC colors only, it will be helpful!
From the 12t van reskins I have done I have not seen them appear in game in a random fashion. the same with my TEA's Hentis
Yep, same here. I've dowloaded few liveries for box vans and few for TEA tanks, but never met freight train passing me by on NTP which would have does liveries applied on them, always the default ones.
I'm having a problem trying to download liveries on PS5. It's telling me that I don't have the required DLC installed for the TVL. Yet I'm playing TVL with the class 31 and 20 loco addons. I'm trying to down load class 101 liveries. Anyone face similar issues?
