I check the fuse box and only find a ATS switch.

Trust me it’s in there. I turn it on every time I run the F125. It’s one of the three breakers that’s off by default. They are the alerter, ATS, and PTC. Keep looking, you’ll find it.

What, you mean the fuse box that can't be opened?

What??? Lol. I think it's the fuse box that can be opened. ;) Have you people ever taken the time to inspect what you have purchased, walked around in the cab checking each box and switch? Making yourself acquainted with your loco? Or are you just rushing the game...

That's what I'm doing right now! Which is why I asked. I haven't bothered with AVL before.

Anyway, I found it; it isn't the usual EMD fuse box, behind the engine controls and light switches. That one can't be opened.

Can you please provide a screenshot as to what you’re talking about because I’m pretty sure every box can be opened inside the cab. In any case, the fuse box where the PTC, ATS, and alerter switches are does in fact open. A recommendation to do a little more research before reporting that they don’t or that something doesn’t work that in fact does.

My, that horse of yours is awfully high.

I was asking a simple question. That's one of the functions of this forum. And no, in fact the central fuse box with the engine and subsidiary light controls can NOT be opened in the F125 (unlike all othe EMD engines in game). The safety system fuses are located in a different box, behind the conductor's chair.

For anyone wondering, this is the cupboard, located behind the non-driver's side chair

I tried using the alerter on F125 and it doesn’t light up on the screen only on the HUD and then a little while after the HUD lights up a barely audible alarm goes off so I don’t bother with it now.
