DTG is not making manuals for most of the new content. IIRC, since the release of TSW2 only LGV and SEHS have manuals.
Yep. Basically "lets include all these features, buttons and safety systems, but let's also not tell anyone how to use it"
Yeah DTG can't be bothered anymore apparently. Someone posted an actual EMD operating manual for the F7 on here back when Clinchfield first came out, which provided some good info although not every function is modeled in the game.
In TSW 1 not only did all the routes have their own manual, but they also translated them into multiple languages, I have them all in Spanish. Another thing in which we have gone backwards like crabs. My guess is that they thought, why are we going to bother if we are going to sell the same?
For what it's worth, here's some real-life documentation: CRR track charts CRR overview map (CSX period) EMD F3 manual (important if you want to learn more about transitions) EMD F7 manual EMD SD40 manual Useful site for finding operator's manuals: rr-fallenflags.org Some of this documentation is very interesting and you can learn a lot from it
I can‘t take the credit for that. Someone on the forums linked it when asking about potentially missing coal tipples on CRR. I can‘t remember who it was from the top of my head, though.
