Here's a weird one. I have the South Lancs and Chesire route v4.2... this one... https://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/liv-man-br-blue-route ..and suddenly, the roof in Preston station disappeared one day. Everything else is fine... just no roof at Preston. I'm not sure if it's a shared resource or not, but I still have a roof on WCML over Shap, and I still have a roof on OTS's Northern Lines v2.0.. just SLANC4.2. I've hosed it out of the game completely using Utilities.exe and manually removing folders... re-installed it... still no roof. I've tried totally removing TS2020 entirely and starting again (I have back ups) and still no roof.

I have all the assets required as listed by the authors... besides.. it worked fine last time I ran it... I've done nothing since, and now there's no roof. LOL

    Any ideas anyone?

The approach of "I've tried totally removing TS2020 entirely and starting again"
Is like "My car headlight has stopped working and changed the Bulb - So I removed the Engine and reinstalled it again"
Removing Everything because one small item is not visible is that last thing to do

Is the roof visible in the Editor?
Have you run the route thru RW Tools to see what you are missing?

I had a missing signal post on a freeware route which was down to my Scenery Density settings not being on Max

I don't see the issue. I'm fully backed up (entire machine onto a RAID6 server, which is in turn mirrored to a RAID5 NAS), and TS is on a striped M.2 array... takes literally a couple of minutes to dump it back on, and it rules out a currupt install. It's actually pretty much as fast as verifying game files via Steam. I coudl see your point if it was on a single 5400rpm mechanical drive or something, but it's not 2010 :)

Nope... just checked... missing in editor too.

No... not done that. Not even sure how if I'm honest.

Yeah, but a station roof the size of Preston? Running all settings on max at the moment. Besides... it was fine.. changed nothing.. now it's gone. It's as if a file is either missing, or being looked for in the wrong place.

If it's a missing model you should have the 'missing item milk bottle' somewhere, if it's a cluttered area you could try this > https://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/utilities-and-tutorials first mod to help see it better, double clicking the milk bottle will at least tell you where it's looking for said model, might help maybe?

Thanks.... that's a great idea. It didn't solve my issue with this route, but it will no doubt be useful further down the line.

Ok.. this gets weirder and weirder. I noticed that also, on that route, AP's Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack was not working as it should, either. I've no idea what the link between the two issues are, but decided re-run the batch files that came with the older version of SLANC... V4.0, and the roof re-appeared... but then AP Sky & Weather wouldn't work at all... on any route.... so re-installed it... now I have the roof, and everything works. What??? LOL Not that it matters now, but if anyone can explain why any of this should be, I'd love to know.
