Hi all. Im new to ts so I wondered if any of you noticed that Brundal station on the line away from Norwich is not as the screen shot in steam, its a bus shelter not the like the real one at all. I bought both from steam (new to steam also) very recently so still finding my way through. Also bought Class 101 code from dovetail and added it to TS but cant find how to add in Career mode for the Wherry Line. Ive tried following the manual. And lastly phew! I also get 14FPS albeit on an aging graphics card.
You don't say which Class 101 you bought; however none of them come with career scenarios for Wherry Lines. You can drive your 101 on the Wherry Lines in Quick Drive, see if somebody has made any scenarios for it in the Workshop, or create your own career scenarios. You'll find that all routes are simplifications of real life. It's not possible to make exact models of everything so route builders use something that looks similar, sometimes only slightly similar.
That is because the Game was modelled at a date in the past and any changes in the real world are not reflected in the model. You will find that a lot in the game where things are not as they are in real life. Does it stop you playing the game - No. So just ignore odd visual differences.
Hi. Thanks for your replies. I had thought my copy was corrupt, uninstalling and reinstalling numerous time, but still the same bus stop. If you look on steams screen shots it clearly shows Brundal as a brick building, the nightime atmospheric scene with a class 37 leaving. Perhaps it was taken from the Armstrong website version. I'm not nit picking, and I understand this game is not as in real life. I love the idea that we out in Great Yarmouth area are not forgotten, and its a great add-on. To answer Tommydee, I have class 101 in BR blue and Regional Railways. Thanks all for your input.
Regarding Brundal you are looking at the screenshot of Platform 2 the wooden bus shelter is on Platform 1 and there is a metal bus shelter next to the brick building on platform 2.. From my AP version.. The Image on Steam..
Hi Reef Thanks for your screen shots. It appears Steam and AP are different. See my screenshots, no brick building on platform 2 .
I only have the Steam Version and I get Brundall Platform 1 And Brundall Platform 2 As far as I am aware there is no difference between the AP & Steam versions apart from different scenarios and their requirements. Just a thought but have you got your scenery density set to max 100%? that can cause assets to not be displayed.
Thats it! Thanks cscarpenter. I pushed scenery quailty and density to 100% and now I've the building and level crossing keepers hut. I had the settings low cos I was only getting 14-15fps thinking the less quality the more fps, but with these to max I'm still getting the same so will have to invest in a much better graphics card when they come down from silly prices. Thanks again all for your help and suggestions.
