Hi, I have created this thread, in order to know, which new locomotives, passenger and freight cars, but also brands, you would like to have be included in TSW in the near future?

In my case, I would like much modern ones.
But please add to this list, the ones you prefers, even if they are older.

    > Locomotives:

    - Stadler six axle one. Euro 9000 or 6000
Could be the diesel only, the electric one, or even the "hybrid".
This one could be more complex, due to 2 power systems.
But at least, if we have the electric only one first, and later the hybrid will be great!

    - Class 68 Uk model. Modern diesel locomotive.
Class 67 will be nice too.

    - US: Siemens Charger and passenger cars.

    > EMUs

    High speed
    - Siemens ICE 4
    - Siemens Velaro

    Intercity
    Some double decker ones. Like:
    - Stadler Kiss, or the latest Kiss 200, and 160, GTW

    One decker:
    - Siemens Mireo, Desiro Verve, Desiro HC
    - Stadler Flirt 200, 160

But for those passengers trains, I would like to have more train companies.
For example for Germany RRX - Rhein Ruhr Express, which would be great for Koln Aachen.

    Freight:

    - I would like to have more freight cars variations, for both European and US ones.
For example we need other tank cars.
    Different in size.
    We only have one today

    - More container companies: For example Maersk and Evergreen.
    - US TTX freight car company.

I know this will require DTG to get the license, but I believe this is a win win business.
Due to both will have benefits.

    What do you think?

Please add your wishes of new locomotives, freight and passenger wagons, and container and cargo companies.

    In order of priority:
LNER 91 and MK4 set and MK4 DVT
    Cross Country 220/221
    TransPennine Express 802
    Avanti 390
    TransPennine Express 185
Eurostar 373 (maybe 374, but seems similar to BR406) (layer onto SEHS with timetabled services)
TransPennine Express 68 (no longer in service, but really like the MK5 coaches). Could have some work for RHTT too? I saw an ex-tpe one doing this while still livered the other day.

Something from a "brand" I've never heard of.

Not the modern LOVE that can be found... everywhere, looks, and handles the same...

My favorite historical company will always be Southern Pacific. So rich in history from steam to diesel. If you dont know a lot about American railroads, please watch and read some pieces about SP.

Id love to see Southern Pacific.
    SP locomotives:
SD70M ( Acquired these a few years before being bought out)
    SD45R
    SD7
    Alco Rs-32
Alco RSD5 (One of my favorite locomotives ever picture included)
I also am attaching a youtube link of the legendary Tehachapi Loop. This Loop consists of many tunnels and back then the SD locomotives would be starved of air cuasing excessive fuel burn (Black smoke). The trains would come out of this tunnel in a very smokey situation always causing these locomotives to be very dirty and covered in fuel.

Well... as I work for the automotive industry, I used to named "brand".
In this case should be "Train company", or "Train manufacturer".

    DRS Class 20 & 37:

Now that DTG have the DRS licence. Maybe a nuclear flask pack would be nice?

    BR Class 85, 86 & 87:

I love the DB BR110 and BR155 on German routes, but am really aching for some "tap changer" WCML action soon.

BR Class 304 "Dinosaur" & Class 310 EMU:

I used to ride these on the Wolverhampton-Coventry and Walsall-Birmingham all-station stoppers in the early 1990's and really miss them... (I might be the only person on the planet who loved the "Dinosaurs" though).

I would like to have the following Trains in the Game.

    - Twindexx Vario, to put it simply, that's a Dosto EMU.
    - DB BR 232 which is already in development.
    - An older Generation of Dostos.

These are the ones that come to mind quickly. Preferably all in typical DB livery.

    Edit:

    - A Passenger Train version of the Vectron, one with PIS. Preferably from the MRCE
    - DB BR 246 this is the Diesel version of the DB BR 146

    Edit 2:

    Wittenberger Steuerwagen for the N-Wagen

I'd like to see Canadian Pacific come to TSW as well, especially on the Canadian Rockies route, that's if they could find a stretch short enough!

For me, Class 68, class 170, class 70 for now anyways. Most would find a home somewhere on the routes out just now.

I’d honestly like to see a GE standard cab either on Horseshoe Curve or Sand Patch Grade. A neat addition for Sherman Hill and AVL would be a UP ES44AC just to add some extra diversity.

If they ever added that I think it would be a good addition if they added the Lehigh line that runs along (and sometimes on) the Raritan Valley Line, since it’s busy and has a mix of NS and CSX traffic. It could run from Oak Island yard to Manville Junction.

For the Raritan Valley Line are you suggesting the Parallel freight line between Manville and Oak Island Yard? If yes then Sand Patch Grade Cajon Pass Sherman Hill Oakville Subdivision and Horseshoe Curve give CN CSX Norfolk Southern (NS USA For the EU user they see that as Nederlandse Spoorwegen) UP and BNSF freight traffic. New Rolling Stock CSX ET44AC. One can see a Sand Patch Grade AC4400CW leading Cajon Pass ES44AC 2020 builds 3250-3299 and Expansion Pack SD70ACE through there. Also for the RVL in the early to Mid 2010s was a GP40 to Newark Penn with Comet I-Vs that includes a Comet IA which itself was an Arrow I EMU converted to a coach. On the Weekends passengers on the RVL will try to drive to Summit Exit 45 I-78 on the TSC Morris and Essex lines for the mentioned ALP-45DP Hackettstown to NYC runs.

3rd rail slam doors and the thumper on a uk route. Ideally eastleigh to Portsmouth harbour and Southampton docks included for freight. Or as Portsmouth direct line from waterloo.
We have had modern 3rd rail and br class diesels but not old school slamdoors yet.

Exactly the route I’m talking about. Nice DLC ideas too. Maybe they could do the AC44C6M for NS too.

I for one would love to see a permanent way pack.

this would be a game pack including a tamper, ballast regulator and auto ballasters. There could be scenarios where you have to bring a tamper into site just after a renewal or even dropping new ballast during a renewal. Timetable mode for example you could do wagon swaps from Doncaster decoy yard to Peterborough yard or run a tamper from reading triangle sidings to Langley reception sidings. I would love to see the network rail test train too either as a class 37 or the infamous HST.

TSR’s or ( temporary speed restrictions ) could also come into play as I personally love the TSR scenario on ECML as it would make more of a challenge for players if that’s what they prefer.

please let me know what you guys think

I would love to see some newer entries in the future like Trenitalia/FS, FlixTrain, Hellenic Train (Formely OSE/TrainOSE). everyone with their respective routes.

For Locomotives: AMTRAK GE Genesis, OSE Class 120 / 220 , AMTRAK Siemens Charger, Trenitalia/FS E.464
    For E/DMU's : Stadler Flirt, Stadler GTW , OSE Class 460 , FS/Trenitalia ETR's
    And for Routes Medium to Long in Km/Mi : IT: Rome-Naples / Rome-Milan, GR: Athens-Thessaloniki / Piraeus-Airport & Ger/DE: Köln – Hamburg.

I agree and for IT how about Milan to Bellinzona in Switzerland that way we have dual voltage swiss and Italian Trains. For Ger/DE why not DE to NL like Duisburg/Bochum Utrecht 202 km and 173 km Bremen Oldenburg Groningen via Leer (Ostf)

  46. WCML over Shap in all it's glory with branches too!

These are tap changers? Is it Class 86 they have in TSC for WCML over Shap? BR Class 85, 86 & 87

Western Lines of Scotland would be epic too.

    Class 90/91s IC225 etc

    Class 360 GEML Ipswich

South London Lines and North London Lines as well as rolling stock from TSC.

Sydney train Waitaras or Tangaras Sydney to Parrmatta

Melbourne Trains EMUs I think Comeng but Victoria is borad gauge so will be a first for TSW.

    Japanese railways.

Odakyu to Hokone branch to Enoshima

JR Commuter line such as circle (green)

    Or Marounuchi line or similar

    Shinkansen of course

more LGV, more ICE3 high speed

Maybe some Norway, Poland, Czech, Sweden and Dutch routes. etc if I didn't list your european country. I'm sure Euro devs that live in a country will be motivated to do some TSW content.

For US content I would like to see a midwest US freight route such as Chicago to Byron with Elgin having passenger to Chicago. A route between Chicago and Kansas City that is high speed where you can drive hot freights and Amtrak passenger trains.

Tbh, a DE to NL route sounds so much better.

I agree that's why I came up with HDBA Hollandstrecke Duisburg Bochum Arnhem 145 km 90 miles. Even better Duisburg/Bochum-Utrecht 202 km that way HRR freight to HDU is stuck

Since DTG has an AMTRAK license I would like to see more AMTRAK rolling stock and engines. Like the train sets used on the Southwest Chief through the Cajon Pass.
