Here is a question, since some routes have multiple timetables, if I select a timetable service through the journey mode, which timetable will it pick? Because I can't select one. For example; for Köln - Aachen, I have 2 timetables, one that includes the train from the New Journeys S-Bahn Köln add-on plus the basic trains included in the route and one that includes the basic trains and a lot of layers from other add-ons, but that does not include the train from the New Journeys S-Bahn Köln add-on. Trains in the New Journeys timetable: Trains in the original timetable:
I believe the journey mode is from the original release, so should use the original timetable as well. Similar stuff on Bakerloo, for example.
Yes on Koln-Aachen the Journey will select the original release timetable (unless you are doing the 423 journey. As for Southeastern Highspeed - I think it depends on platform (some platforms will select the full timetable, and others the reduced timetable). Any other Journeys you had in mind? I only listed the ones at the top of my head.
I didn't really have any particular journeys in mind, I was just curious how it would choose the timetable if there are different ones available in the Journey mode.
Ah ok. It's basically whatever Dovetail choose. The Bakerloo Journey mode still uses the old timetable.
I suspected this after a rather empty journey mode trip the other day. On non-gen 8 platforms, as a loyal customer and avid journey mode user, I would expect a full-fat timetable on all applicable routes.
