I'm a newbie to Train Sim World 2 and am stuck on the second part of the training where it asks to turn the lights to bright. For the life of me I can't see how to do it. And no amount of internet searching tells me what to press!

I'm running the game via XBox cloud gaming on my PC and am using an XBox controller. I don't think I'm just being dumb - but I probably am!

    Help please.

Ideally use a keyboard and keep toggling the H key or the mouse to physically click and hold the in cab switch.

Turn on objective markers and there will be a marker over the headlight switch in the cab

TBH, keyboard works a lot better with TSW than a controller

If you tell us, which is the exact locomotive you are talking about, we could provide more exact information.

It's probably spg since op is new to tsw. Also the specific bright setting is only on American locomotives

If you're talking about spg, then the headlight is on the bottom right when you look to your left on the operator's stand. There's a switch in the corner that controls headlights. For the ac4400cw, it's to the left of you on the desk. You will see two turnable switches that controls the headlights

On the EMD control-stand engines, the front light rotary can be somewhat hard to find if the reverser is in the forward position.

Thanks to all for the hints and help. I went into the general settings and now find I have a tiny dot on my screen which when lined up with the lights allows me to switch them to bright. Finally! BTW I should have said it was the CSX AC4400CW.

I can see this is a very helpful community.

That was the reason I asked about what locomotive you were talking about, due to it is different way depending on it.
Hopes the picture and rectangle y draw on it were useful for you!.

Yes the idea of the community - apart from opinions and discussions about the simulator itself- , is to help us each other!.
