Just thought of this over the last few months. Why Didn't TSW2 and Rush Hour be separate games instead of been all in the one.
There would be no purpose in them being separate, as they both fall under being the same game, no need to have 2 entirely separate games to load between just to be able to switch routes and locos, and then possibly lose compatibility for scenario planner etc between the two if ways to connect we’re not created
The way I tend to think of it is that each DLC is in essence it's own game anyway. Sure they share some controls and some assets go onto other routes, but in essence each DLC is a self contained "world" with it's own assets, stations and timetable
