   There's an audible reciprocating steam sound while the locomotive is stationary, that you don't hear in the 8F or the Jubilee. Is it the electric dynamos?

   It's the pump for the air brakes. Flying Scotsman is the only steam locomotive currently in TSW which has them fitted.
