So, I bought TSW 3 on the PlayStation app, am finally returning to console. sorta stuck on the classic, default PS4, I thought all was well and am prepping to install all my preserved content, and what do you know, Despite me "installing it" none of it appears, and the entire store is broken? I've tried reaching out on Twitter, I've tried the rebuild database, no dice. I do not have an external hard drive or anything extra on my PS4, I am just very not happy ATM with dovetail and Sony. I can tolerate bugs and other things, but this? Not so much. Please do not tell me I wasted nearly $50 over a load of bullshit that won't even work properly. Please do better.
I love how Harlem has now randomly appeared and the literal dlc I bought with the game (the ice1) is nowhere to be found rotflmao, this is crazy
Best way to get his resolved is to raise a support request, if you didn’t already do it. https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com/support/home
I too got the big update download and despite my normal reticence to destroy my installation of TSW 2 with DTG's signature patch disaster I let it go through. At the end I was very surprised to see my install had actually survived intact! What is more is I now seem to have two routes (one German, one American) that I don't remember having before or ever purchasing. When I tried running them it came up with a TSW 2020 loading screen and seemed to run OK. Yikes, this is weird but the sort of unplanned glitch I can live with. Indeed seeing the old TSW 2020 load screen made me feel nostalgic for those days of innocence when we put up with bugged and badly stuttering routes whilst actually believing the cynical promises from DTG that they would be fixed... eventually... maybe. Years later many of those problems still exist and have been ported onto TSW 3 which is basically TSW 2 with a few minor new graphics updates and the game changing unbearably exciting inclusion of the show room dummy automatons clumsily clunking around on platforms now being able to extend an umbrella when they are rained on. One can only wonder at the awesome technical advances that were needed to include this stunning new feature and compare it to the colossal effort required for projects like the Apollo moon landings and the development of Concorde.
