The question is caused by comparison the HDD storage the TSW versions need: TSW2: 120 GB TSW3: 300 GB TSW4: 380 GB TSW5: 780 GB The difference trom TSW3 to TSW4 I can unterstand. It has 10 routes more. But TSW5 has 3 routes more than TSW4 only. Need the new features the double space?
The size shown for TSW5 seems to be counting some DLC from TSW3 and TSW4 towards the total, as those DLC are showing as shared between games under “manage game content”. TSW5 is actually only bigger than TSW4 by around the size of the new routes. It’s an issue DTG needs to sort out with Sony.
What platform are you on? The state of the DLC on PS5 is an absolute mess right now. Its very easy to unintentionally download PS4 or TSW4/3 versions of DLC (which inexplicably show up under the TSW5 manage content screen) and they take up space on your SSD despite not even being usable in TSW5. Sometimes I wonder if this game is even tested on Playstation platforms at all.
The HD footprint is getting crazy. If I install all my TSW content it will be taking over 300Gb on my HD and I by no means own everything. Yes I know on PC I could upgrade to a bigger HD or see if I have a slot for another but there comes a point at which the whole thing becomes a behemoth. In fact with only about 150Gb left on the drive where I have TSC and TSW plus a few other Steam titles installed, seriously thinking of drastically pruning the TSW content I leave installed and delete the pak files for the rest of it.
