I'm sorry for the recurring question, but why is it impossible to have analog compatibility?
Why is it impossible to map a simple digital connection?
With a few buttons and 2 or 3 axes, we have the possibility of making the controller of our dreams, so why isn't it implemented in TSW and TSC?
I am convinced that this addition will greatly improve the simulation, but also increase the loyalty of the community, such as the plane simulation.
please dovetail, transform your great simulation to the best simulation.

    i'm making a mostly 3D printed train driving desk/console, with 7 axes and 40+buttons/switches,
but the holdback is the way i'm going to have to get it to work with TSW2, i'll be having to mimic a raildriver with an arduino, as well as send keyboard presses at the same time.... and i will still have a loads of switches that work in the trains cab i can't access without a mouse.

so yes, joystick / direct input is something i really hope will happen, it used to be something they were working on but i am not sure its even on the roadmap anymore.

We do have raildriver input for the PC which we should be grateful for, as usually anything added to TSW2 has to work on the consoles as well as PC,
and homemade train driving controllers/ throttle quadrants / RailDrivers don't work with the consoles.

I found out that single platform stuff is not something they like doing when asking about the possibility of an API for TSW2 like there is in train simulator classic,
In TSC you can access the trains data easily, so things like directly operating every single control in a train with an interface program like Cobra Ones RailDriver Joystick Interface is possible, reading the trains 'gps' position data allows for working EBuLa screens i.e. TS-MFD.
as well as many other amazing things that could be done if we had access to similar data in TSW2.
