I have a route that has about 15 to 20 miles of a fairly wide river that goes down in elevation. I tried the water decals which look nice but must stay flat to look and work properly. My next idea was to use a river water loft. The lofts can be height adjusted which should work. However, I can't seem to find a river water loft that is wide enough. Anybody know where I can find a wide water loft?
I did find a wide river loft, however the one's that I found didn't look right and had a funky LOD (level of detail). The further away you move from the river loft, the more of the river loft exposes itself...even the parts that are underground. This looks completely awful. I've gone back to fighting with water decals and their level issues. I sure would like to know how other route makers deal with river elevations.
