With another version of TSW comes the continued PIS bug, telling me the next station stop is Peterborough when infact it's Grantham, telling me the London KX service next station stop is Doncaster whilst I'm standing on Doncaster station. etc. etc. Is this being looked into? Though I suppose the bug could have a bit of realism, I was listening to Hawksby and Jacobs earlier on Talksport today and Paul was mentioning he was on the train to Blackfriars reading his book and when the train was on the approach there, the PIS stated they were arriving into Kings Lynn!
Yeah, happened to me on a GWR service recently. Luckily my return service was cancelled because of track maintenance (real reason no crew) so me and my 8 year old daughter spent a fun afternoon on the buses instead of being confused by the train announcements... Perhaps these little foibles in game can be looked upon with a generous spirit if one spends a day on the real railway first.. Needless to say, next time we're driving.
Yep, PIS has been bugged probably since TSW originally launched. Different issues on different trains and platforms (train ones not consoles though probably consoles also) To fix seems to be needed on a per train basis though some sorting out of the core coding for how it operates could help make it better.
