In theory it should do but I thought I'd just double check (with future scenarios and timetables in mind).
Also will it come as a 3-car?
(Then I could post the photo below in the "Unusual formations" thread :) )

As you say and display they could do in real life and so should in game, but really who knows, unless DTG/Simtrack have an answer.

Here's another reference photo that shows this combo was fairly common. In this case it could even be argued that this service could have been routed over PFR had it still be open.

Come on DTG. There's no reason why this question can't be answered. :|

Have you considered the 104 is still early in development? There is a reason why this question can't be answered at this moment since we have no news on the DMU so far. But IK for a fact that 104/101 diagrams were very common back in the BR Blue days, however even if we do couple them up they would both look extremely out of place, as one is in a BR Green Livery and the other is in a BR Blue Livery, but still would be fun to do nonetheless. I just hope Simtrack also includes the BR Blue version as well of the 104

The development team would know on Day 1 whether they planned to have the CL104 and the CL101 couple together or not. TBH, and I know that I am biased, I think I am asking a fair question. And I don't think that DTG, or the developers, would be breaking any trade secrets if they answered it. (But maybe I am asking on the wrong forum).

Why would it look out of place if we coupled the 2 units together (even if one was Blue and the other Green)?
A quick look on Flickr got me these..........and I'm sure that better images of mixed formations exist elsewhere on the net.

We can always make our own liveries when the developers don't provide them. :)
