Hi guys today I’m going to be suggesting the SWR and Cross Country from Winchester to Bournemouth.
The rolling stock included will be the Class 450, 444 and the 220/221.

    This is Winchester Station.
Winchester railway station is a railway stationin Winchester in the county of Hampshire, England. It is on the South West Main Line and was known as Winchester City from 1949–67 to distinguish it from Winchester (Chesil) station. It is 66 miles 39 chains (107.0 km) down the line from London Waterloo.
Despite its prominence (most passenger trainsstop here), the station only has two platforms. One is on the western side, with the line running in a northerly direction via Basingstoke, Wokingand Clapham Junction, towards the terminal at Waterloo. The other is on the eastern side, with the line running in a southerly direction, towards Eastleigh, where it splits and runs towards Southampton Central, Bournemouth and Weymouth or Portsmouth Harbour.
    This is Southampton Airport Parkway.
Southampton Airport Parkway railway stationis on the South West Main Line located in the south of Eastleigh in Hampshire, England, 74 miles 66 chains (120.4 km) down the line from London Waterloo. It is adjacent to Southampton Airport.

The station has two platforms. One is on the western side with the line running northbound via Winchester, Basingstoke, Woking and Clapham Junction, towards London Waterloo (also having services via Basingstoke to Reading, Birminghamand the North West). The other line runs southbound towards Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Weymouth.

what about extending it to Basingstoke? its a much more significant station to end at where lines branch off west to Salisbury and north to Reading.

SWR won't either so the route would end up as another Island Line 2022 thing unless set in SWT days.

Why not extend it even further to Weymouth and Basingstoke?
Would allow that rare flask train but other than that atleast it would complete the final section of the SWML

I thought extending it to Wareham because I suggested swanage so there could be a dmu eg 101 exerting Wareham and the disappearing where the swanage line will be that I suggested to go to Norden.
