The Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway is a 2 ft narrow gauge railway. The line was operated as a for-profit company from 1895 until 1933 between the Maine towns of Wiscasset, Albion, and Winslow, but was abandoned in 1936. As of this posting, they have recently hosted the "Grand Reunion" Consisting of engines from other Maine Two footers such as the BS&R and MRR. They also transformed their WWF #9 into her former appearance as SR&RL #6. They restored several privately owned pieces of former WW&F rolling stock and rebuilt about 2 miles of former WW&F track with more plans to continue all the way to the small town of Head Tide. They also interchange frieght with the Maine Locomotive and Machine Works.

Their current ROW is as follows not including the Mountain Extention to Head Tide. Note that the mileposts based off prototypical WWF Rwy Mileage.
    • Milepost 4.8: Sheepscot - HQ of all operations plus a yard
    • Milepost 6.4: Alna Centre - Small passenger/freight flag stop
    • "Top of Mountain" was a southbound spur atop the uphill grade from Head Tide to Alna and currently is the location of current of line for passenger service
They plan to continue to Milepost 9.1: Head Tide which had an Agent's station building of standard design with 2 southbound spurs. Some distance north of the station a third southbound spur served a gravel pit. A covered water tank was north of the gravel pit.

Like the Corris Railway, the line would be small and short, it would be a nice addition to TS 20.

I'd easily pay $50 for this route. It needs to be made.
