A very wealthy route with vintage electric traction written all overit with the usual BR blue back at it again, lots of old style freight wagons including MK1s. My favorite the Class 76 vintage electric locomotive with the weird overhead connectors and class 47 style body aka british version of the container locomotive. The Woodhead Electric Railway in Blue captures the route as it was in its waning years, and in addition to that, covers extra mileage such as the Glossop Branch and Reddish depot. If that wasn’t enough, the included traction; Class 08, Class 76 and Class 506.
If set slightly earlier, it would be possible to have more infrastructure as well as the Class 77 co-co locomotives. Otherwise a superb suggestion.
I'm fairly certain I have this for TSC and just haven't gotten to it yet lol. Regardless, the Woodhead fascinates me and would make for a welcome break from the monotonous modern content we've been getting in droves. Doesn't the museum in York have a Class 76 on display?
