Written by: Edward Fisk. Edward Fisk, of Partner Programme developer MeshTools, delves into the re-worked and Pro Range-suited simulation of the Class 76, which is to be included with the upcoming Woodhead Electric Railway in Blue route! READ MORE
Wow. You've done it again. You've amazed me (and probably everyone else) beyond happiness. That's so amazing!! Not only the the revamped Class 76 (whose interior I'm astonished by), but also the 506 and the 08! All of these locos look like they're of so high quality, and I'm more than positive that it'll be an absolute blast operating them. I really appreciate all of your hard work making these products, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy using them, including me, of course. ■
The class 76 looks very nice, I cant wait for the route to come out. I would like the Amtrak ge e60 loco to be in train simulator could you guys add it in the list for the future.
I have just read thru the article about the Class 76 and I was quite impressed. And then I saw this picture and was quite disappointed. https://dtl-ghost-storage-bucket-prod.storage.googleapis.com/2018/022018/02/WD76_0006.jpg Where to start. The OHLE portal gantry is wrong. The Track layout is not quite right as the Diamond Crossing was a Single Slip otherwise you would not be able to arrive in Platform 2 The Signal prefix shows LE but should show LR (London Road)

I feel like such a dunce, but Edward Fisk writes, "never be afraid to ask...", so I'm giving it a try here. I'm learning how to drive the Class 76; I've precisely followed the instructions in the manual but on reaching the FULL FIELD notch, I cannot move the Combination Lever from Series into Parallel mode. It just won't budge. Can anyone please tell me what I might be doing wrong? This is such a fantastic and complex model, I really want to enjoy driving it, but this is quite frustrating!
Having Reach Full Field you need to move the handle back to Notch 1 - you can than move from Series into Parallel - wait a few seconds until you hear the relays behind you click in then you can continue in Parallel
Thanks very much for your reply. I did try that without success, but I've actually realised that I made a really daft mistake. Because the Off label is at the top position, I thought pushing the Combination Lever all the way up was Off, but of course, it's actually Parallel. Worryingly, the fact that the scenario starts in Off with the lever all the way at the bottom didn't make any difference to my thinking! I'm putting it down to modern user interface conventions and tiredness! >.<;;
I heard somewhere there’s a fuller manual to the 76 than the summaries contained in the Woodhead manual. Does anyone have a link?
