Would be cool to see, something different from the rest. I would love to see a collection of overhead wire DC electrics with there complex and challenging controls come to Tsw 5.
Good shout, but preferably set before the passenger service was withdrawn, i.e. the era of the first TSC version rather the second when it was all a bit run down.
Totally agree that it must be set during the 1960s with full passenger timetable. Must also have all branches and spurs from the start. After Glossop line got a 76 under a tarpaulin as a Mastery tile, I had hoped that this might be a project in the works but alas not at this point.
It’s something perhaps JT might look at once Shap is out. Though I rather hoped their next one would be North Wales Coast in 1983. As regards the Class 76, although the 1960’s TSC route was better, the loco itself had the better version and the features/physics we would need in the Blue 1970’s edition.
Interesting, just watched a YT Video about the Woodhead tunnel and I gotta say, I'm actually super interested in this route coming to fruition!
As a staunch supporter of old electric locos, yes please. I would love to get the old DC locos - they remind of the Milwaukee Road’s electrics (also DC), which is another route I’d love.
Agreed. I liked the older TSC version with the line still fully operational more than the newer iteration with half of the stations closed down.
