This 24.5 mile or 39.4 km single track branch line based in 1908.Running from Leominster to Rushwick Halt. A scenic route to be drive on.I have chosen 3 locomotives that drivers could drive so:first I think a Midland Railway tank engine 0-6-0t 1F (in Midland Railway black) for stopping services, shunting and freight operations,A Midland Railway class 115 (in Midland Railway maroon) or “Spinner” because of them being a 4-2-2 and is a tricky one to drive but the semi-fast and non-stop express services should be enough but as there was only 15 built I think there should only be 3 running numbers and for the biggest engine on this route the Midland Railway Midland Compound (in midland maroon) running similar services as the class 115 so the driver doesn’t feel like it is too repetitious.I chose these because in my mind the 1F and class 115 are outdated and the new midland compounds are more economical. The other steam routes have somewhat stage names like Spirit Of Steam and Peak Forest so I think it should be named Masters of the Midland
Good suggestion! It certainly would be great to see pre-grouping railways, although there is 2 problems with your suggestion: 1. It would probably make more sense to have the line terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill instead of Rushwick. 2. This line was owned by the Great Western Railway and wasn’t operated by any Midland Railway engines.

A great suggestion! Would be nice to see some of the iconic GWR Panniers on this route, certainly with an autocoach too. Maybe the GWR 64xx 0-6-0 Pannier would be at home here, not sure about any other larger locos that ran here.
Would love to see some routes like this. It is a lovely part of the country and would be a very pretty route. As said though it was operated by the GWR. I think Collett Goods were often used on the line.
