Has anyone seen this or is it just me who has had his head in the sand, I have tried it with 1 scenario and it worked successfully and I would be interested to hear if anyone else has success with this also. https://rail-sim.de/forum/lexicon/e...sturz-beim-laden-von-umfangreichen-szenarien/ I dont have too many issues with OOM dumps but every now and then I come across a batch of scenarios that give me grief
I have a similar method of loading my favourite, very asset-intense scenario. I have a very basic scenario of the same route that I load prior to loading the route I want to play. As with the rail-sim.de workaround, this "preload" forces assets into memory and prevents possible OOM issues down the track . . . . .
A scenario that people used a lot was the Wash and Go that comes with Munchen - Augsburg route. Run that for a few mins then drive the scenario you wish to drive.
Well this is clearly a thing that everybody knew except me, haha How many hours this would have saved me over the years, I wonder if it will work with some of the Indian content I have that for some reason the developer has put everything they have made inside one product folder and Railworks loads upto and over 12gig into memory even if only one item is used, will try it out when bored one day
Same here. Worth noting if I decide to venture out on the JT Met Line or the New Zealand route, particularly from a saved game, as they are the worst culprits in my experience for OOM.
