    hello,
I am subscribed to some workshop scenarios for various routes. For all they work when I am online (Steam), but TS crashes after clicking some when I am offline, while there are also workshop scenarios where I don't need to be online for them to load. I don't know why they wouldn't all work offline since I have all the required assets.
Also after closing every scenario I am asked to give a thumbs for the creator. I can do that once, but every time I am in and out of a scenario is a bit too much. Can this be disabled, and specific workshop scenarios be edited or copied (haven't tried yet) that they work offline too?

I am subscribed to a route as well and I don't need to be online to use it (after installation), and am never asked to give a thumbs.
    Thanks.

I believe only scenarios ask for it. You can ignore it, and it has your previous choice I think.
If you really want to, you can strip the scenario of its workshop data. Spikee1975 can probably help. I suppose if you simply extract the file it doesn't have what triggers it.

The crashes are usually related to problem with the extraction. The best thing to do is subscribe to one at a time.
Historically, you could Favorite workshop items to remember them. (Favorite + not rated = To Do)
Recently TSC enabled client-side workshop manager, so you can go further and cherry pick one at a time, but clumsier. Kind of a solution however for you right now - you can disable everything, clean up your game and then add them one at a time, when looking to play.

I would hope that the next TSC core update will fix this issue - there was some minor progress I think - but otherwise it's at least a decade old issue, so rather learn to live with it, work around it. To reiterate: every game launch, only sub to (install) one new item.

I suppose it would help to have a public TSC Wiki. Guess it costs money...

Having downloaded a scenario I like I clone the scenario and remove the workshop version.

You can also just take the route folder from the zip in Workshop and put it directly into your Routes folder, that's what I tend to do.

    From > Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\24010\2905241934\rout_a226ba71-6272-4568-ad2c-8a3a82d21584.zip\Content\Routes\a226ba71-6272-4568-ad2c-8a3a82d21584 to > RailWorks\Content\Routes\a226ba71-6272-4568-ad2c-8a3a82d21584

Thanks all, cloning a scenario seems to solve the problem. It didn't make any sense why Steam should be online for some scenarios. I will do that for all subscribed ones (then unsubscribe) so everything works offline. There are scenarios I will need to replace some rolling stock, so it will become my own scenario then anyway.
