First of all, I am not born in an English-speaking country, so I will use a translator. I've been playing TSW4 since TSW2, and I end up buying add-ons, playing scenarios, playing timetables, etc., but I get bored after about 5 times. Since you can make the horn of a locomotive (train) sound by yourself, I wish the AI could make it sound too. Every time I pass by someone, I sound the horn as a greeting, but they just ignore me. And passengers. Today's TSW4 passengers are suddenly sitting on station benches, buried on the platform, and illuminated by lights that emit light... To make it more realistic, there are people who board the train at the last minute before the doors close, people who stand at the edge of the station and take pictures of the train, and people who enjoy a meal in the dining car. I want to feel like I'm there. Another thing is that I don't like arriving at a certain station at a certain time. For example, I don't like it when a REX stops on an island-style platform and proudly stops on the passing line even though there is an NJ behind it. (Don't worry about my bad drawings.) I think it will be difficult to put together a program for this, but I hope it will come true someday.
Firstly, hi! For some reason I love the hair color of your avatar Totally agree with you, the current zombie-like passenger behaviour is off-putting. I recently made a thread of my own about this and other issues, even with some suggestions to fix it. Seems like many people agree on this matter About the second issue you mentioned: I still haven't quite figured out TSW's logic when it comes to train priorities. Sometimes when you're already delayed, a faster train up ahead which would be scheduled to come after you will get priority and you have to follow them. But getting pulled to the side, to let a faster train pass like you described, this only seems to happen if it's scheduled. A good place to witness this is Linke Rheinstrecke, the regional services from Mainz to Koblenz or the other way around frequently get pulled aside at Bingen to let one or two faster trains pass. Might be a translation issue, but this reads like you won't do well with timetables at all
thank you for your reply! And I appreciate that you sympathize with me. The passenger issue was something that everyone was dissatisfied with, so I felt a little relieved. I hadn't noticed it until now, but I can definitely see a regional parked on the side of Linke Rheinstrecke. (My avatar is modeled after the character Anna Mochizuki. Please look it up if you are interested.)
