This route comprises of 2 different services, one being the Holyhead - Cardiff Central (which the TfW loco hauled sets work occasionally.) and the Borderlands line from Wrexham Central to Bidston, where it connects with Merseyrail's Wirral Line. It also passes over the North Wales Coast line at Shotton. Proposed Rolling Stock Class 150/2 Operates the Wrexham Central to Bidston service as well as the Valley Lines near Cardiff. Has an acceleration of 1.47 mph/s (found from TfW data sheet publicly available for acceleration and deceleration on all of their fleet as of early 2020) and a top speed of 75mph. Class 175 Operates most of the services between Chester and Shrewsbury as well as the NWC and Welsh Marches, although 158's do occasionally appear. Has an acceleration of 1.34 mph/s and a top speed of 100mph. Class 221 'Super Voyager' Occasionally operates services between London Euston and Wrexham Central as well as services along the NWC. Has a top speed of 125mph
