Loco Wsr Gwr Steam Gala

The West Somerset Railway, a gentle ride along the west coast seeing the seas and beaches while also seeing fields, trees, cliffs and engines. The WSR already exists in TSW but it is only diesels and not steam engines which the WSR runs more often (mainly GWR Locos) If you buy WSR you get a BR green Class 47 and a BR green Class 09 and layers for every other diesels that were part of TSW2020 roster. So I recommend an 8 engine timetable. This can also come with some new rolling stock.

The Xmas lights train is very gimmicky, so replace that with a freight.

Also a BR standard tender engine , or tank to choose from.

 

Heritage railways don't operate freight services.

 

Great idea, WSR doesn't look right without steam, I know it is supposed to be based on a diesel gala but to have a few steam trains sat at Minehead, Williton or Bishops Lydeard would add some immersion to the route as I'm sure the WSR must have some steamers sat in sidings at the termini and Williton

 

If we get anymore stream trains and routes its got to be USA next and the big boy plan and simple UK has had to many releases over the past year

 

A lot of the heritage lines operate goods trains, especially during gala days.

 

I never knew that. I thought they were passenger only.

 

Freight was a big part of the railway traffic in steam days. When trying to give an authentic recreation of railway workings, the heritage lines operate demonstration goods trains.

I honestly wanna drive a steam tank engine in TSW4....it's crying out for one in my book.
